Wrapping up #RAW2023: if you missed this amazing event, you can still watch replays and ask speaker questions

As we close the chapter on another successful Risk Awareness Week, it’s time to reflect on the event’s impact and share some key takeaways. This year, we’ve set new records and milestones, not just in the number of participants but also in the depth and breadth of discussions.

By the numbers

Let’s start with the statistics (because risk managers are nerds), which show the value that RAW brings to the risk management community.

  • Participants: We had 3,164 people join us, coming from diverse industries and professional backgrounds. More are registering every day to watch workshops on demand and you should too.
  • Global reach: Participants came from 150 countries, emphasizing RAW2023’s international appeal.
  • Total time watched: People watched workshops for 40 days, 8 hours, and 34 minutes in total.
  • Satisfaction metrics: Feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Specifically, 93% of participants enjoyed RAW2023, 92% plan to return for RAW2024, 94% found value in the event, and 91% liked the online format.

These statistics reflect the collective commitment to improving risk management practices worldwide. The topics we discussed have universal relevance and applicability, making RAW an event with something for everyone.

A platform for ground-breaking ideas

We covered topics set to reshape how risk management is viewed and practiced. The introduction of SIPmath Standard 3.0 and discussions about HDR, metalogs, and expert calibration offer tools and methodologies that can revolutionize decision-making in organizations. I know because they already revolutionised how I integrated risk analysis into decision making. Plus the participants really enjoyed talking to our RAW AI, I see usage statistics sky rocket.

Looking forward

As we start planning RAW2024, we carry forward the lessons and successes of RAW2023. Given the increasing complexities in the world, the role of informed, empirically-backed risk management has never been more crucial.

So, thank you to every participant, speaker, and supporter. You’ve made this a hub for knowledge and growth. We look forward to seeing everyone at RAW2024.

For those who missed out or want to revisit the sessions, replays are available. Don’t miss this valuable resource.

Here’s to more learning and a future where risk management is seen as an enabler, not just a precaution. See you at RAW2024.
